  2. When was RISE Adventures formed?
    1. RISE Adventures was formed March 13th, 2007. RISE Adventures is classified by the IRS as a Charitable Organization 501(c)(3) corporation effective March 22, 2007.
  3. Who is RISE Adaptive Sports?
    1. RISE Adventures, Inc. is now the parent company of RISE Adaptive Sports, doing business as RISE (DBA), effective January 1, 2013.

  7. How much do RISE Programs cost?
    1. Nothing. All RISE programs are 100% free of charge. No membership fees. No participation fees. No equipment rental fees. Free!

    1. Yes! You can view our policy here.
  9. Does RISE require program reservations?
    1. YES! Reservations are made online or by calling our office. Reservations are required 48 hours prior to a program start time. Making online reservations just got easier! The RISE Calendar has been updated, click on the program/date, click the reservation link. All RISE programs are 100% supported by volunteers. Reservations are required to know how much help and equipment is needed for that program date. Thanks in advance for helping RISE operate all of our programs at the highest level possible!
  10. Who can participate in RISE programs?
    1. RISE serves both kids and adults with a primary diagnosis of a physical disability. Individuals need to be able to understand directions in order to comprehend the safety precautions and instructions that come with participating in sports. Individuals with secondary disabilities will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Physical disabilities that RISE serves include: Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Amputee, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Neuromuscular Disease, Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Blind/Vision Impaired, Ambulatory, and all other physical disabilities.
